Page rank Tango

April 30th 2008 02:50
Yesterday morning, I was all smug to see the PR of my personal blog rise from 3 to 4. However, during late afternoon, it dropped to 3 again. That's weird and frustrating. What gives Google?! Now some more Page rank tango are happening to some of the sites we are maintaining. These sites are fairly new I might add and their page rank this morning was like 5! "Ahh, okay, am I being punked? Come on baby, show me Ashton Kutcher."

Anyway, any form of celebration is postponed until we have this pinned down. Who else is experiencing this? Who among you almost fainted because you're blog's PR from zero increased to five?

Google Update

March 3rd 2008 07:08
Did anyone notice a change in PR lately? How a drop in backlinks?

Well, I did. Unfortunately, LazyMovie happened to be one of the hundreds of sites affected by google's latest update. And from 138 backlinks it dropped to 69.

Although my blog's PR, vigoureuxartiste, increased from 0 to 3.

No one was expecting such an early PageRank update in 2008. The last one, as you probably can remember, happened late in October and it created a lot of buzz due to a new policy that Google decided to adopt towards websites that were selling text links without the nofollow tag.

Have you noticed any changes?

We recently uploaded the new lay-out for LazyAnimation and LazyMask websites. We used the css and div codes to make the site more search engine friendly and more presentable for our site visitors.

The update on LazyMask's web lay-out had pushed the site to rank number 5 in google SERPs (at least thats the last time I checked). *applause* LazyMask was kindda stuck in the 7th rank before, the team is so happy with the results we are seeing.

I have been working as an SEO for a year now. And within that span of year, I have learned quite a lot and have been ahead with most of my collegues. I wouldn't say Im on the expert level, more on advance level though. What do you think should it take to be like Matt Cutts or Aaron Wall? hmmmm... I guess that's my long term goal for my SEO profession; to be just like these guys and even more.

I have been so over confident that I failed to realize that it will take me years and years of SEO experience and loads of research to get to where I want to go. So here's to us SEO newbies and the not so new. A toast to this creatively challenging profession we have gotten ourselves into.

Jane Kirk has done it again. After successfully establishing LazyMovie, a service provider of rotoscoping and chroma keying, she is now once again penetrating another industry with a new outsourcing solution up her sleeve.

She calls it, with a smirk I might add, ’The Other LazyMovie’; a new service niche dedicated to answer the expensive needs of the film restoration industry

LazyAnimation

March 30th 2007 05:53
We just relaunched our LazyAnimation Website. This is just one of the many reasons why I barely have time to blog... Anyway, please do check out our new site, LazyAnimation. LazyAnimation is a cost-effective digital animation studio that specialize both in 3d and 2d animation.

Out of our three main websites, LazyAnimation is the only one wherein, content wise, SEO is not the primary concern. This is because trying to sell animation over the net is not enough. The nature of the business actually requires actual presence and trust for the would-be client to actually avail of the service. So basically, LazyAnimation i just an online presence for the animation segment of our company

Google Page Rank Unraveled

March 27th 2007 08:53
I feel I needed to make this post, aside from the fact that I haven't been posting much these couple of weeks, I really need to air out my page rank concerns...

January was a good start for me, apparently my website's PR made a sudden leap from PR O to PR 5! Especially with the type of services we offer which are only of interest to a very small people. People generally interested with rotoscoping and chroma keying would want to visit my site, and fact is, they're so few. We were patting our backs for a good job well done

Fun at work

March 1st 2007 06:54
Work is brutal these couple of months since we are currently making a lot of reports. Making work easy to bear with, we often need to create some sort of recreation. Since we primarily offer clipping path services and image manipulation, us employees of this company, we often have to taste how good our services are, whether voluntarily or underhandedly.

BEWARE: Dangered Species on Loose!

Taking a break

December 22nd 2006 09:17
Tis' season to relax and be with loved ones. Since santa knew we have been working our butts off the entire year,he figured we can use a break. So last Dec. 16 we had our Hawaiian Christmas party way up North in one of Cebu's fine beaches. There were tons of games and alcohol just enough to turn half of the guys pink and get them "in the mood".

What break did you take since you have been good this year
